Danny Larson, ‘19 - Argentina
Danny is a PSI alumni who studied abroad in Buenos Aires. He’s currently serving as an English teacher for the Peace Corps in Ciudad Quesada, Costa Rica!
Casey Baker,
‘19 - Spain
Casey is a PSI alumna who worked in the Office of International Education and studied abroad in Spain for a year. She says that, “without my study abroad experience, I wouldn’t be pursuing a Master’s abroad here at the University of Bath, England.”
Samantha Cooper,
‘20 - China
After graduating from Allegheny, Samantha will be working at the Presbyterian Senior Care hospital as a PCA and researcher until the fall of 2021, when she will begin her studies at medial school. While at Allegheny, Samantha was involved in the Language Department, and has visited China twice in order to further her language studies.
Rachael Cohen, '20 - Spain
Rachael Cohen, a recent alum and the treasurer of Phi Sigma Iota for the 2019-2020 school year, was awarded the Dr. Marie-France Hilgar Scholarship from the national PSI board. She will be using this scholarship to fund her first semester of graduate studies at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, she will be studying for a M.S. in Global Health and intends to conduct field research in Chiapas, Mexico or another Spanish speaking country.
